Finally, I’m done with French 2. I never really thought that I’d be able to compose a sentence or moreover talk in straight French after this. Ondoy didn’t help me last semester in French 1. There was no oral exams, and there was no finals exams to push me to study about it. So yeah. I wasn’t able to really build a good foundation in French. Thankfully though, I have podcasts and sites to help me study for French 2. I really don’t know what happened, but right now I’m more confident with French. I still can’t do away without my dictionaries and phrase books from time to time though.:-)
So now that I got most of my subjects out of my plate, I’m seeing more and more of relaxation ahead. Of course I have some things lined up for summer to make it worthwhile – like learning how to drive, cooking, fixing our family business, and of course working out to keep myself fit. Still, it’s a great relief to be able to make my own deadlines and be at home.
Well, come to think of it, I’ll be stuck at home most of the time. I call our house the “black hole” – once I’m there, there’s no way out. It’s a good thing I’m here in the dorm during schooldays because if I wasn’t I’m pretty sure I’d still be the loser girl I was back in high school. I wasn’t allowed to go anywhere, the school driver escorts me from the school lobby to the van, and I wasn’t allowed to commute unlike anyone else. Oh, thank God for freedom.
So there, some insights before I go back to work. Sadly, I didn’t get exempted in Histo. Well, I’m not saying I didn’t see that coming because I’m really finding it hard to keep up. Anyway, last push! I’m back on the Busy Bus.:)
